Justworks.org has selected three nonprofits to receive $100,000 over a period of two years to invest in their capacity-building. These grantees have been chosen for their dedication to empowering entrepreneurs facing extraordinary challenges as they launch their businesses.

Meet Our 2025 Capacity Building Grantees

Global Detroit

Global Detroit is a national leader advancing equitable regional and statewide economic growth through immigrant inclusion. Founded in 2010, the organization develops programs that connect international talent, founders, and neighborhoods to opportunity. As part of their efforts to do so, they lead research, policy, and advocacy that demonstrate how immigrant inclusion drives prosperity across Michigan and beyond.

Gratitude Network

Gratitude Network accelerates social entrepreneurs who lead nonprofit organizations that improve the lives of children and youth on a global scale. They help founders facing barriers to entrepreneurship strengthen operations, increase sustainability, develop high-functioning teams, and expand access to resources. They do this through leadership development, their Scaling Up curriculum, and community-building efforts. Over 300 organizations, roughly 200 US-based, have completed their flagship Fellowship program and alumni activities, helping them serve 7x more children and grow revenue by 4x on average yearly.

JUST Community

JUST Community is a nonprofit-certified CDFI and social venture closing the racial wealth gap by investing in ambitious Texas female entrepreneurs through a trust-based financial system that combines capital, coaching, and community. JUST is rooted in trust and guided by its purpose of creating less stress and more joy through programs like the JETA (JUST Entrepreneur Trust Agent), which trains local women to lead peer groups and connect entrepreneurs to capital and resources—helping small businesses grow, build financial stability, and create generational wealth.

Bronze Valley is a nonprofit, Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) venture capital fund that supports early-stage, high-growth, innovation and technology-enabled companies created by diverse, underrepresented, and underestimated founders.

Centro Community Partners

Centro builds thriving communities by providing underserved, low-income entrepreneurs with entrepreneurship education, one-on-one business coaching, mentorship, and access to capital.

Communitas America

Communitas America is fortifying an entrepreneurial ecosystem that centers BIPOC and women founders who are innovatively addressing systemic inequities in New York City and beyond.

First Peoples Fund

First Peoples Fund (FPF) honors and supports the Collective Spirit of First Peoples artists and culture bearers.

Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership

Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL) eradicates the systemic barriers that prevent people of color from being able to access the knowledge, networks, and capital required for entrepreneurial success and wealth creation.

Pledge 1%We demonstrate our values by pledging 1% of equity and profits to expand access to entrepreneurship through strategic funding and long-term investment.
Capacity Building Grants We invest in the operational strength of nonprofits that are working to eliminate barriers to entrepreneurship, such as access to capital, knowledge, and networks.

Spring ForwardWe award grants to nonprofit customers doing extraordinary work across education, healthcare, food security, and more.
Service for ImpactWe empower Justworkers to volunteer their time and skills with mission-aligned nonprofits, reinforcing our culture of care and contributing to long-term ecosystem impact.
